Service Oriented Architecture
Your organization has a good overview of the customers and your operating processes are in order. Information systems which support the operating processes must enable you to react quickly to changing demands and the requirements of the environment. A service-oriented ICT architecture (SOA) offers new possibilities for the “alignment” of operating processes and information systems.
This takes existing systems into consideration, which allows the implementation to take place gradually. But how does AMIS transform an operating process within a service-oriented ICT architecture into a reliable system design?

Process approach
The approach based on information provision and ICT dominates too much in practice. This can have harmful consequences. The options that you would like to offer your customers, for example, are restricted by the functionality that existing systems offer you. It is not the system, but the process which should be the focal point. Moreover the complexity of these systems is threatening to creep into the processes. This thwarts the desired flexibility and the speed of action. This is at odds with the goals of a service-oriented application.
BPEL Process Manager
The current developments in information technology provide resources to develop a service-oriented information system. One example of such a resource is the Oracle SOA Suite. An important advantage of the Oracle SOA Suite is the BPEL Process Manager. With this tool AMIS supports customers in combining individual services and thereby supporting the desired processes.
This means that you will be able to adjust developed information systems more easily if desired amendments to the corresponding processes require this. This is because we now develop, de-link and utilise subsystems independently from each other. You can now easily replace or improve subsystems with no effect on the other systems within the chain.
AMIS
AMIS has extensive experience in designing information systems within a service-oriented architecture. Our employees will ensure a good connection to the system during the process design and guarantee the desired flexibility so that your reaction to the changes which the market demands from you is improved.
